Dissolving
I’m melting Dissolving Like sugar in hot coffee Like sugar crystals in tea
Feeling my emotions Like bullets in a gun Waiting to go off These emotions, I try to stop
I want to run On my face, I want to feel the sun To feel the rain To do something insane
Across a field, running Across the air, flying Across the ocean, swimming My mind’s twirling
The music’s loud To disappear into a crowd Lost in the confusion This could be done
The sun slowly sets All this, I want to forget The night creeps, soon, gone is the day Claustrophobic, I feel I can’t take a breath
I want to scream This is a terrible dream Visions haunt me They’ve come to taunt thee
The shadows of the past They come in great masses It sucks to be me Today, this is how I feel
I ask no pity These chains, I want to be free I want to be someone else Like the night, I fall
Thoughts of the mind Hurt, this I find One’s mentality The rationality
No one wants to hear this They say “It’s your bliss” No one wants responsibility They say “Only You can heal thee”
Music’s my only true friend Of my life, I will listen to the end This is my final word today I’m going to go and fade away
